Check out this great post-reunion interaction between Pam and Jim. It delves a bit more into why exactly Pam failed her class in art school. Jim is, as usual, adorable and supportive. I can’t wait to see what happens tonight on the new episode, “Frame Toby”!
Jenna and her cast-mates of The Office were recently in Winnipeg to film some scenes for the show.
Here’s an adorable photo of Jenna with Steve Carrel, laughing loudly we assume. It always looks like that cast, and Jenna in particular is having so much fun! Definetly one of the reasons we like her so much.
Looks like Jim might have more competition for Pam’s affections… Toby’s back this week!
Okay, so I am kidding. Sort of. I know we’re all excited and interested to see what happens this week between Pam and Jim, and it could be volatile! I’m not speaking about Toby, of course, but about Pam’s return to Scranton after failing art school. Even though she claims she wanted to come back and that she hated art school, it’s got to be hard to give up on a dream.
Check out the brief promo for this week’s episode. Looks like Michael’s back in true, offensive form!
Many of the actors on beloved hit show The Office can credit its success for helping them launch fledgling film careers. Steve Carell, for one, has catapulted into one of today’s biggest movie stars, with big hits (The 40 Year Old Virgin, Get Smart) and successful smaller-scale flicks (Dan in Real Life, Little Miss Sunshine).
But it has been sort of rough going for the rest of the show’s cast. John Krasinski landed a high-profile role in George Clooney’s Leatherheads, but that film failed to ignite much of a spark when it released earlier this year. Rainn Wilson’s had even worse luck, with a brief cameo as the quickwitted cashier in Juno and suffering through the box office death of his leading vehicle, The Rocker. Craig Robinson has had memorable (if underdeveloped) bit parts in Pineapple Express and Knocked Up, making a convincing argument that he should be awarded with a leading role, and fast.
Now it’s Jenna Fischer’s turn, everyone’s favorite girl-next-door-who-is-also-the-girl-of-your-dreams. Fischer’s tried before, with roles in Blades of Glory and Walk Hard, but neither have given her the fanfare she deserves. The Emmy-nominated actress will headline the indie drama A Little Help, a story about a recently widowed single mother who reembarks in an affair with her brother-in-law. The flick will see the feature film writing and directing debut for King of Queens creator Michael J. Weithorn. Shooting begins in January, for a likely late 2009 release in what might prove to be baby steps toward life outside of Dunder Mifflin.
The grass is always greener, or so The Office’s Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey have been telling each other on their respective MySpace blogs.
Fischer claims she is jealous of Kinsey who, despite binging on donuts and quesadillas in front of her costar, has already lost her baby weight after giving birth to daughter Isabel only 5 months ago.
“If you continue to flash your after-baby, fit-with-no-effort figure in front of me, I’m going to tell tales of 9 hour sleep sessions,” Fischer writes.
Kinsey retorts that every time she hears about Fischer sleeping in, “I start making a plan in my head of how to hurt you.”
To make matters worse, Kinsey reveals her morning food’s intake: A donut, a breakfast taco, a cheese quesadilla, a lemon bar and fruit. “And we haven’t even broke for lunch yet,” she writes. “So suck it Ms. Napsalot!”
For now, Fischer gets the last word. “I hope you enjoyed your lunch,” she ends her posting. “I am going home to take a nap for no reason.”

MAY BE SPOILERISH - CONTINUE READING AT YOUR OWN RISK!
The Office returned to NBC for its fifth season on Thursday, September 25. With its return, one thing became very clear: Office fans are in for one wild ride this season.
With the return of several familiar faces, The Office lived up to several expectations, while offering a few surprises to the show’s loyal fans. Unless you read some spoilers in the days and weeks leading up to the season premiere, there were two major surprises in this season premiere. First up was the return of Ryan Howard (B.J. Novak) to the Dunder-Mifflin office. Howard returns not as a company exec but, surprise-surprise, a temp, filling in as the receptionist after Pam Beesly’s (Jenna Fischer) leave of absence. The only thing funnier than seeing Ryan’s awkward return was the hilarity of his “little black book” of those who do him wrong from now on!
But this wasn’t the biggest surprise. Last season, the writers and producers of The Office left us disappointed with the failed proposal of Jim Halpert (John Krasinski) to Pam. Writers fed fans’ hunger by offering a surprise proposal . . . in the rain . . . with a beautiful wind-blown, rain-drenched kiss.
Already, compared to previous seasons, The Office’s season five promises to offer big surprises, bigger plot twists, and even bigger conflicts. And it all seems to revolve around a subject the show has often delved into, but never to such a great extent: L-O-V-E, love!
The show has wandered into some strange new territory with the serious-yet hilarious-love triangle that has developed between Dwight, Angela, and Andy. Pam and Jim’s long-distance relationship is up for some new challenges with Pam studying in New York, and fans will likely start wondering before too long how their relationship will deal with another long engagement (hoping and praying Pam and Jim don’t become another Pam and Roy).
Note to Jim Halpert: Keep your dukes up and your eyes on your girl!
Sources close to The Office tell me exclusively that there are plans to bring back David Denman, aka Roy, aka Pam’s ex-fiancé, in one of the next five episodes of the new season.
But why? Is he coming back to try and win back Pam (Jenna Fischer)? Would the writers really do that after she just got engaged to Jim (John Krasinski)?
Here’s what insiders are telling me…
No! According to my spies, Roy has not returned to court Pam. (Can I get a hallelujah, my Office-loving brethren?)
Still, it’s not all roses and sunshine and wedding plans…
Word is, somewhere around the fifth episode of the season, Jim and Darryl will meet up with Roy at a bar (as usual, to avoid some hijinks cooked up by Michael), and the meeting is fairly benign (no punching this time). However, it could still spell trouble for Jim and Pam. I’m told Roy throws out a zinger that makes Jim worry about Pam being away at art school and whether any of her new guy friends could steal her away (just as he did to Roy).
But Jim and Pam trust each other, right? And it’ll all be OK, right? Let’s share some affirmations, group hugs and wedding-gift ideas below.
